Radio with a purpose
GTR brings together DJs, presenters, artists, businesses, community leaders and listeners from across Manchester and beyond. Our programmes are shaped by real people and real experiences, combining great music with interviews, discussions, live events and information that matters. We want every listener to feel connected. Whether someone is discovering a new artist, hearing about local support, sharing their story or finding a new opportunity, GTR should feel like a platform that belongs to them. Our identity is proudly local, culturally diverse and open to the world. We are building a station that entertains, informs and brings people together.

Entertainment connected to real community support
Golding Touch Radio is being powered by The Better Living Project CIC, a community-focused organisation led by Trey Richardson. TBLP works to support people who may feel overlooked, unheard or unsure where to turn, particularly vulnerable residents, families and social housing tenants. This partnership gives GTR a stronger community foundation. Radio can start conversations and reach people in an immediate, personal way. TBLP can help turn those conversations into awareness, connection and practical pathways to support. Together, GTR and TBLP will use music, media and community engagement to highlight local issues, celebrate achievement, promote trusted services and create opportunities for people to take part, learn, volunteer and lead.Working together
A leadership team committed to the community
GTR is guided by a clear leadership structure that brings strategic direction, day-to-day delivery and community responsibility together. Every role contributes to ensuring the station, centre and events programme are welcoming, purposeful and used to benefit the people we serve.Michael, Managing Director
Michael works primarily behind the scenes, providing strategic direction, oversight and support for GTR. His role is to help protect the station’s long-term vision, strengthen its foundations and ensure the wider team has the guidance needed to move forward with confidence.Operations and community delivery
Trey Richardson, Operations Manager, leads the day-to-day operational work alongside Fitz, Station Manager; Liz, Administrator; and Lewis Haye, Centre & Events Manager. Together, they coordinate the station, administration, community activities and events, making sure the space is managed responsibly, opportunities are accessible and every part of GTR remains focused on serving the community.
